This photo of a scenic bridge and rapid above Torc waterfall located outside Killarney, county Kerry was taken on 28.08.2008 F/20 Exposure time 2sec The water source for the falls is the “Devil’s Punch Bowl” corrie lake near the summit of nearby Mangerton mountain. The waterfall is 70 ft in height and flows into Muckross Lake.
I'm a part time landscape photographer from and living in county Clare. I grew up on a farm near Corofin village and am currently living nearby. At an early age I developed a passion for photography and for the beauty of nature and the Irish countryside. I travel a lot throughout Ireland photographing and researching the history of Ireland's countless beautiful ruined churches, castles and monuments.
