This beautiful Church of Ireland church located in county Donegal was built by Jane Smith Russell as a memorial to her husband James Russell landlord of the Dunlewey estate who died on the 2nd of September 1848. He was laid to rest in a vault under the church floor. The church is built of white marble and blue quartzite which was quarried locally. Mount Errigal Donegals highest peak is behind the church
